How customers can accumulate rewards

In Masivo campaigns are the distribution channel of rewards. When a customer action or event matches the campaigns’ rules, the customer automatically receive the reward.

Facts about accumulation

  • Customers can receive rewards from multiple campaigns at the same time if they meet the rules of each campaign.
  • Customers won’t receive rewards if they are not part of the tier that is configured in the campaign.
  • A campaign can contain multiple rules and each rule can reward the customer with a different reward.
  • If some rule contain multiple conditions, the customer must meet all AND conditions to receive the reward.
  • If some rule contain multiple conditions, the customer must meet at least one OR condition to receive the reward.
  • AND & OR conditions can be combined in the same rule. Therefore, the customer must meet all AND conditions and at least one OR condition to receive the reward.
  • Each campaign type comes with its own mechanism to accumulate rewards. For example, behavior campaigns accumulate rewards based on customer events, while coupons campaigns accumulate rewards when a coupon code is redeemed.

Test rewards accumulation

Currently, the only way to test reward accumulation is by using our REST API. In the future, we will provide a playground to test reward accumulation.
