In Masivo, customers can redeem rewards on any event. For example, when a customer makes a purchase, the customer can redeem a discount to reduce the order total.
Rewards are only redeemed when an event that use them fulfills.
Rewards specified to be redeemed are automatically marked as reserved and cannot be used until either the event is fulfilled or the reservation expired.
It is the responsibility of your e-commerce service to validate the order total to be charged to the customer. Masivo only manages the stock of rewards.
